রাত গভীর। চাঁদের ম্লান আলোতে ঘুমন্ত শহরের এক কোণে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে একটি মাদ্রাসা। সেখানে সারা দিনের কোরআন তিলাওয়াত শেষে, ফজরের অপেক্ষায় শান্তিতে ঘুমিয়ে আছে মাদিহা। তার হৃদয় আল্লাহর ইবাদতে মগ্ন। ছোট্ট বয়স থেকেই মাদিহার স্বপ্ন ছিল একজন আলিমা হওয়া। সে বড় মেয়ে, বাবা-মা আল্লাহভীরু মানুষ, এবং তারা তাদের মেয়েকে ইসলামের আলোতে বেড়ে উঠতে দিয়েছে।
মাদিহা তার মা-বাবার মতোই দ্বীনী শিক্ষায় মনোনিবেশ করেছে, মহিলা মাদ্রাসায় পড়ছে। তার চোখে একটাই স্বপ্ন—আলেমা হয়ে সমাজের নারীদের ইসলামের পথে নিয়ে আসা। তার এই জীবন ছিল স্রেফ ইবাদত, জ্ঞান এবং আধ্যাত্মিকতার এক নিদর্শন।
হাবিবুল্লাহর আগমন
অন্যদিকে, হাবিবুল্লাহ। সে কওমি মাদ্রাসার ছাত্র। ছোট থেকেই ধর্মীয় জ্ঞান অর্জনের প্রতি তার গভীর আগ্রহ ছিল। কুরআনের তাফসির, হাদিসের ব্যাখ্যা, এবং ফিকহ শেখায় সে এতটাই মগ্ন যে তার শিক্ষকরা তাকে একদিন বড় আলেম হওয়ার দোয়া করতেন। তার হৃদয় ছিল নরম, দয়ালু এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি পূর্ণ বিশ্বাসী। মাদ্রাসার কঠোর নিয়ম ও শিক্ষা তাকে আরও পরিশীলিত করেছে।
হাবিবুল্লাহ ও মাদিহা প্রথমবার দেখা করে একটি ইসলামী মাহফিলে। দুজনেই আল্লাহর পথে চলার আকাঙ্ক্ষা নিয়ে বড় হয়েছিল, এবং সেই আকাঙ্ক্ষাই তাদের এক সূত্রে বেঁধেছিল। হাবিবুল্লাহ মাদ্রাসায় ফিকহ ও হাদিস পড়ার জন্য নিবেদিত, আর মাদিহা ইসলামের জ্ঞান অর্জনে মগ্ন। মাহফিল শেষে তারা একে অপরকে দেখল, কিন্তু পর্দার আদব মেনে কোনো কথা হলো না। তবে সেদিন থেকেই দুজনের অন্তরে গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও আধ্যাত্মিক সংযোগ তৈরি হয়।
সম্পর্কের অগ্রগতি
মাদিহা ও হাবিবুল্লাহ সম্পর্ক কখনোই পার্থিব আকর্ষণ থেকে গড়ে ওঠেনি। দুজনেই মনে মনে একে অপরকে ইসলামের পথে সহযাত্রী হিসেবে ভাবতে শুরু করে। সময়ের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তারা পারিবারিকভাবে সম্পর্কের বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হতে চায়। মাদিহার পরিবার এবং হাবিবুল্লাহর পরিবারও তাদের এই পবিত্র সম্পর্ককে মেনে নেয়।
একদিন মাদিহা তার কক্ষের জানালার পাশে বসে, সূর্যাস্তের রঙের দিকে তাকিয়ে, মনের মধ্যে আল্লাহর পথে জীবন কাটানোর প্রতিজ্ঞা করে। সে কোরআনের এই আয়াতটি উচ্চারণ করে:
"وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا"
অর্থাৎ: “যে আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্য পথ বের করে দেন।” (সুরা আত-তালাক: ২)
হাবিবুল্লাহও মাদ্রাসায় বসে প্রতিজ্ঞা করে, সে আল্লাহর পথে জীবন কাটাবে এবং মাদিহাকে একদিন তার সহধর্মিণী হিসেবে গ্রহণ করবে।
বিপর্যয়
কিন্তু আল্লাহর পরিকল্পনা মানুষের চেয়ে অনেক বেশি জটিল ও গভীর। হঠাৎ মাদিহা অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ে। শুরুতে এটি সামান্য মনে হলেও ধীরে ধীরে তার শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটতে থাকে। মাদ্রাসার চিকিৎসকরা তাকে দেখে পরামর্শ দেন উন্নত চিকিৎসার, কিন্তু ততদিনে তার অসুস্থতা গভীর আকার ধারণ করে। হাবিবুল্লাহ খবর পায়, এবং তার হৃদয় ভেঙে যায়।
এই কঠিন মুহূর্তে, হাবিবুল্লাহ মদিহার পাশে থাকার প্রতিজ্ঞা করে। সে প্রতিদিন তার জন্য দোয়া করে এবং কোরআনের আয়াত পাঠ করে। এই কঠিন সময়েও, মাদিহা কখনো আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস হারায় না। সে হাদিস থেকে একটি দৃষ্টান্ত মনে করে:
"مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ"
অর্থাৎ, “আল্লাহ যার কল্যাণ চান, তাকে তিনি কষ্ট দেন।” (বুখারি)
শেষ মুহূর্ত
মাদিহা ধীরে ধীরে মৃত্যুর দিকে এগিয়ে যায়। হাবিবুল্লাহ তার পাশে বসে থাকে, কোরআনের তিলাওয়াত করছে। সুরা ইয়াসিনের আয়াতগুলো শোনার সময়, মাদিহার চোখে অশ্রু জমে ওঠে। তার হৃদয় ভরে ওঠে শান্তিতে, কারণ সে জানে আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা অনুযায়ী তার শেষ মুহূর্ত এসেছে। হাবিবুল্লাহ মাদিয়ার হাত ধরে শেষবারের মতো বলে:
“আল্লাহ আমাদের পরীক্ষা করছেন, এবং এই পরীক্ষার মধ্য দিয়েই আমরা আল্লাহর আরও কাছে যেতে পারব।”
হাবিবুল্লাহ সুরা ইয়াসিনের এই আয়াতটি তিলাওয়াত করতে থাকে:
"سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ"
অর্থাৎ: "শান্তি, করুণাময় প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে।" (সুরা ইয়াসিন: ৫৮)
এই আয়াতের শব্দগুলো মাদিহার আত্মাকে শান্তি দেয়। তার নিঃশ্বাস ধীরে ধীরে থেমে যায়, এবং আল্লাহর পথে সে শেষ বিদায় নেয়। তার মৃত্যুর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে হাবিবুল্লাহর জীবনের এক অধ্যায় শেষ হয়, কিন্তু সে জানে যে মাদিহা এখন আল্লাহর কাছে শান্তিতে রয়েছে।
উপসংহার
মাদিহার মৃত্যু হাবিবুল্লাহর জীবনে গভীর শূন্যতা সৃষ্টি করে, কিন্তু সে সবসময় মনে রাখে তাদের সম্পর্কের মূল ভিত্তি ছিল আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস। তিনি প্রতিদিন মাদিহার জন্য দোয়া করেন এবং তার নামে একটি মাদ্রাসা প্রতিষ্ঠার প্রতিজ্ঞা করেন, যেখানে অন্যান্য মেয়েরা ইসলামের আলোয় শিক্ষিত হবে।

Novel: "Immortal Sorrow on the Path of Light"
The night is deep. A madrasah stands in a corner of the sleeping city in the dim light of the moon. There, after reciting the Qur'an all day, Madiha is sleeping peacefully waiting for dawn. His heart is engrossed in the worship of Allah. From a young age, Madiha dreamed of becoming an alima. She is a great daughter, parents are God-fearing, and they have allowed their daughter to grow up in the light of Islam.
Madiha, like her parents, is focused on religious education, women are studying in madrasas. The only dream in his eyes is to bring the women of the society to Islam as an alma. His life was just a sign of worship, knowledge and spirituality.
Arrival of Habibullah
On the other hand, Habibullah. He is a student of Qaumi Madrasah. He had a keen interest in acquiring religious knowledge from an early age. He was so engrossed in Qur'anic commentary, hadith interpretation, and fiqh that his teachers prayed that he would one day become a great scholar. His heart was soft, kind and full of faith in Allah.
The strict rules and education of the madrasa made him more sophisticated.
Habibullah and Madiha met for the first time at an Islamic party. Both grew up with the desire to follow the path of Allah, and it was that desire that bound them together. Habibullah is devoted to the study of fiqh and hadith in the madrasa, and Madiha is to Islam Obsessed with knowledge. At the end of the mahfil they saw each other, but according to the etiquette of the veil, there was no word. However, from that day, a deep respect and spiritual connection was formed between the two.
relationship progress
Madiha and Habibullah's relationship never grew out of worldly attraction. Both started thinking of each other as fellow travelers on the path of Islam. With time they want to be bound in family relationship. Madihar's family and Habibullah's family also accept their sacred relationship.
One day Madiha sat by the window of her room, looking at the color of the sunset, vowing in her mind to spend her life in the way of Allah. He recites this verse of the Qur'an:
"وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا"
Meaning: "Whoever fears Allah, Allah makes a way for him." (Surah At-Talaq: 2)
Habibullah also vowed to live in the madrasa, to live in the way of Allah and to take Madiha as his wife one day.
disaster
But God's plan is much more complex and deeper than man's. Suddenly Madiha fell ill. At first it seemed minor but gradually his physical condition started to deteriorate. Madrasah doctors saw him and suggested better treatment, but by then his illness had become serious.
Habibullah gets the news, and his heart is broken.
At this difficult moment, Habibullah promised to be next to Madiha. He prays for him every day and recites the verses of the Qur'an. Even in this difficult time, Madiha never loses faith in God. She thinks an example from the hadith:
"مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ"
That is, "Whom Allah wills good, He afflicts." (Bukhari)
last moment
Madiha slowly moves towards death. Habibullah sits beside him, reciting the Qur'an. While listening to the verses of Surah Yasin, tears welled up in Madiha's eyes. His heart is filled with peace, because he knows that his last moments have come according to God's will. Habibullah took Madia's hand and said for the last time:
"Allah is testing us, and only through this test can we get closer to Allah."
Habibullah continued reciting this verse from Surah Yasin:
"سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ"
That is: "Peace, from the merciful Lord." (Surah Yasin: 58)
The words of this verse bring peace to Madiha's soul. His breath gradually ceased, and he took his last farewell in the way of Allah. With her death, a chapter in Habibullah's life ends, but he knows that Madiha is now at peace with God.
Conclusion
Madiha's death leaves a deep void in Habibullah's life, but he always remembers that the foundation of their relationship was faith in Allah. He prays for Madiha daily and vows to establish a madrasa in her name, where other girls will be educated in the light of Islam.
Madiha's memory lives on in Habibullah's heart, and he knows that one day they will be reunited with God. The novel ends with a scene of Habibullah standing by the grave outside the Madrasa, where he stands beside Madiha's grave reciting the Fatiha, with a light of peace in his eyes.
